The impact of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) has McClain Cellars making every effort to ensure the safety of our staff, winery members and guests. They are taking the situation very seriously and understand this is a global health emergency, as declared by the World Health Organization.
McClain Cellars Actions as of March 15, 2020:
- Per guidance from the California State Governor, McClain Cellars will temporarily suspend tastings at our tasting lounge until further notice. *Please note that we are able to facilitate wine club pick-ups and bottle purchases at our tasting lounge in Laguna Beach BY APPOINTMENT ONLY BETWEEN 12:00PM AND 5:00PM ON ANY DAY OF THE WEEK.
- MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO PICK UP YOUR WINE IN LAGUNA BEACH.
- Winemaking personnel will be onsite with a limited staff to ensure winemaking and cellar activities continue, observing CDC recommended six-feet minimum social distancing.
- Leadership, administrative and wine club personnel are working from our offices and at home, maintaining the required six-feet social distancing space recommended by the CDC and the state governor’s office.
- All winery facilities adopted a hyper-vigilant and daily antiseptic cleaning to follow emerging CDC guidelines, and these practices will continue.
- We have stopped the construction of our new tasting lounge and barrel room in Buellton, CA only 2 weeks from completion. Until the government says it is ok to open up… we have to use caution.
- We are now offering FREE shipping on any purchase of 3 or more bottles of wine.
- Any wine club member that has a pick up that they have not gotten… we will ship it to you for free if you buy 6-12 additional bottles from us now.
