Orange County will be able to enjoy a contemporary and approachable take on authentic Mexican cuisine as Puesto at the Los Olivos Marketplace in Irvine reopens for takeout and delivery on Tuesday, April 28th. Sourcing its ingredients from in and around the state, Puesto has earned national acclaim for its Mexico City-style tacos made with non-GMO organic, maíz azul stone-ground tortillas, crispy melted cheese and scratch salsas.
Guests may order and pay via phone or online at eatpuesto.com for takeout (promo code EATPUESTO may be used for 15% off orders for pick-up). Curbside pick-up available upon request. In addition, delivery is available through DoorDash, Postmates and Grubhub (promo code not valid for 3rd party delivery services).
“We’re incredibly grateful for the support that our Orange County fans have shown us during this unprecedented time and we are thrilled to reopen to serve our community,” says Eric Adler, tacoteur and founder of Puesto. “For now, we will open our Los Olivos location in Irvine to offer takeout and delivery service to guests.”
In addition to a menu that includes its award-winning tacos, Puesto is offering a Family Taco Meal with choice of Chicken Rajas, Carnitas, Birria or Mushroom, along with Puesto’s famous blue corn non-gmo tortillas, guacamole, salsas/pico and other necessary condiments (serves 20 tacos; $50).
No meal is complete without one of Puesto’s exceptional margaritas! Currently, the restaurant offers Margarita Bottles to go, with selections such Quarantender’s Choice (Don Julio Blanco Tequila, yuzu cordial, pineapple, serrano peppers, and fresh-squeezed lime); Personal Paradise (Casa Noble Blanco Tequila, passionfruit, ginger, almond cordial, and fresh-squeezed lime); and Cadillac & Chill (Volcan Blanco Tequila, Grand Marnier, chamomile, peach, and fresh-squeezed lime). Guests may also purchase tequila and mezcal by the bottle (selections available online at eatpuesto.com).
Guests are also encouraged to donate a meal for $8! Puesto has donated nearly 11,000 meals since the pandemic began through its Puesto Cares initiative. Each meal purchased for donation will go to a low-income family or a healthcare worker on the frontlines (guests have the option to select their desired recipient upon purchase and send a note). Giving back to the community is part of the Puesto business model and is more important than ever during the time.
Beginning Tuesday, April 28th, Puesto at the Los Olivos Marketplace (8577 Irvine Center Drive in Irvine) will be open daily from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Find the full menu, hours and online ordering at eatpuesto.com. Note: Puesto’s Park Place location in Irvine is temporarily closed.
